We are so grateful for the support we have received during Mako’s time at Active Explorers. He has learnt something from each and every one of you. Thank you for always running with his interests and providing him with genuine nurture and care. This is a very special place and we are so glad that we chose it for our two boys. Thanks again. My son has recently graduated from Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay and while it is sad to say goodbye, we are also very grateful to the teachers who cared for him so well and prepared him for the next stage in his learning journey. Caleb is a very active boy and the teachers recognised that and provided lots of opportunities for him to be outside, they designed games and activities so that he remained engaged and included others in his play. The centre also sparked off many new interests for Caleb with a module exploring space which he loved, and regular trips out of the centre exploring their current topic which helped consolidate the children’s learning. These included trips to Stardome Observatory, Butterfly Creek, Kelly Tarlton’s and the museum for their recent Matariki programme.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay - the teachers are really kind, caring and enthusiastic and the children and their families have been a lovely community to have shared so much time with.

I would like to thank you Active Explorers for providing such an excellent service with caring teachers and wonderful activities. Thank you Jojo, Sandra, Subashini, Laura, Anjana, Robyn and all the other teachers for taking such great care of Dinanya. Active Explorers is a wonderful loving and creative place. When my husband and I were looking for a centre for Dinanya we wanted her preschool experience to be in a loving, caring and homely environment, where she receives professional care and feels safe. We found all these qualities at Active Explorers. I am sure that Dinanya will never forget all the happy times she had at Active Explorers. Thank you again for all you have done for her throughout the past eight months and we wish you every success for the future. Definitely Dinanya will miss her loving teachers and friends.

My child started at the centre when he was just 4 months old and has since left to embark on his school journey. As a new mum the centre wrapped their arms around myself and my boy and made us feel like part of the family. There were many hard times with James not taking a bottle at the start and me having lack of sleep. During these times the ladies supported our family immensely and we couldn’t be more grateful. James has received so many great life and learning skills and he is now a thriving little school boy and is regularly commended by his new teacher. He is a bright, confident, well-adjusted boy and we simply cannot take all the credit, so thank you ladies, you did a great job!

A wonderful interactive space for all ages to preschool. Excellent facilities and a group of focussed staff that really take into account each little person’s personality and stage of learning. We are very pleased.

Active Explorers has been great for our daughter! Her learning and development has been leaping ahead and she has so much fun learning through play and social interaction. The teachers are fantastic, and we really feel she is getting the best possible care, they are very nurturing, family oriented and child led – would certainly recommend Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay.

We recently moved to Auckland from overseas and have been absolutely amazed at the high-quality early education provided at Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay. The teachers genuinely care for and about the children and we will be sad when our girls are finished there. Highly, highly recommended.
