My son has been going to Active Explorers Ellerslie for 8 months and absolutely loves it.

I was amazed at how quickly my son adapted to the centre and his caregivers. Before he started I was so concerned he wouldn’t drink his bottle or go to sleep in strange place and within literally a couple of days he was into the swing of things. These days he doesn’t want to come home when I pick him up.

I have had zero concerns with the centre, they communicate well and keep me well informed of my son’s development and daily activity. I love receiving photos and stories of what my son is up to during the day.

Returning to work after maternity leave and leaving your child is difficult,  Active Explorers Ellerslie made the transition of returning to work so much easier, thank you!

Teachers are great, our son has learnt so much this past year. Centre has a nice community feel to it and the facilities are great. We really like the progression through N1, N2 and toddlers.

Lovely staff who have been at the centre for many years are well trained, and caring individuals. I like the consistency in child care. The best thing you can have at a centre is low staff turnover and Active Explorers Ellerslie has that!

I absolutely love this daycare. My kids always tell me that they had a great day. The teachers are kind and responsible. Plus the food is healthy and good. I also like the activities such as visits to the retirement centre or a walk to paper road!

Active Explorers Ellerslie is a wonderful early learning centre. Both my daughters are enrolled at the centre in Preschool and Nursery. The teachers at Active Explorers are one of a kind - compassionate, patient and caring. They have the child at the centre of their hearts. Active Explorers Ellerslie enrols the whole family and embraces the needs of the child whether academic, cultural or behavioural. The special cultural days celebrated throughout the year are very important as they teach my children that as human beings, we are all the same and that respect for each other is integral to their future in Auckland and the world.
