For Sea Week our tamariki learned about different kinds of sea creatures and their habitats. We also learned about how to keep our sea and beach clean and protect the sea animals. We made an aquarium out of a cardboard box and fishes by folding the paper. Then we finished making our Tropical Ocean on the canvas with handmade fish and paper seaweed. What’s more? We made the Rainbow Fish and her fish friends as we learned about sharing and building friendships from the story. On Friday, we even made our own fishing game with the fish we made.
