Active Explorers is a fantastic early learning centre. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, the work hard to foster my sons learning through curiosity  and directed play. 

A little friendly reminder ;) Just wanted to remind Rachel and her team, that you guys are doing an amazing job looking after my Child Alex. He has grown into a mature 2 year old in such a short period of time, as it is not an easy job, educating the little ones. It is not often enough that we stop and praise the team as us mothers are always rushing around like headless chickens not to mention forgetfulness. I would like to thank the team from the bottom of my heart, I really do appreciate your work. Big ups to Adele & Hayley as they are the ones I see most of, Alex is always going home clean and happy not to mention healthy looking too. Proud as mum Lyna :) 

We have been fortunate enough to have both of our children be a part of the Pukeko room over the past 2 years and couldn't be happier with both the team who are for them, and the environment that they are playing and learning in.

Active Explorers has a huge amount of outdoor play and discovery space for all age groups which is a huge drawcard for our outdoor, active kids.

We have found that the teachers in the Pukeko room have all of the qualities that as a parent we want our young children to be surrounded by. They have made drop offs easy by forming a strong bond with the children making them feel safe and secure with extra hugs and comfort given when needed.

Our son has been part of the Kakapo room tor just over a year and he loves it. 

The use of the Families app Storypark is an amazing asset to our family, it gives us insight to what our little man is up to during his time at the centre along with all of the fun activities he is experiencing and having access to. 

The Kakapo teachers use of the daily learning board has been great in the way that we as parents can see what activities are being focused on during each day and what skills/ information can be gained from carrying them out, (also great inspiration for activities at home-thanks!).  Teaching through play has a strong focus in the Kakapo room and the centre in general, combining that with the amazing teachers to guide and care for our son and the incredibly large outdoor play area, we know we have chosen the right early childhood centre for our family.

Active Explorers Melville have been such an awesome childcare for my daughter. She was enrolled at 6 months old and they were super welcoming and passionate about their jobs. She immediately grew a bond with the teachers and she has enjoyed every moment since. My daughter has learnt so much through this childcare from the alphabet to karakia mō te kai. I love that they incorporate Te Reo Maori in their everyday practise as well. I am forever grateful for Active Explorers aroha and manaaki. 

Thank you for all that you have done for Liam during his time with you. He has developed so much and all your effort and work you do with the Tuatara group is a big part of his progress and why he is so ready for school now. 

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at Active Explorers Melville for taking such great care of my children.

I wanted to take the opportunity to commend the past and present teachers of Active Explorers Melville. Thank you for creating a welcoming, loving and caring environment where our children are feeling safe and happy to spend many hours each day. As you are aware Jake loved his time at this centre. Jake has flourished at school from the very beginning, and I totally believe that as teachers, you have all played a significant role with your guidance and support including all the school preparation.

I cannot express how happy I am that my children have spent the last two years at Active Explorers Melville. I believe this day care has a well balanced structure. During the day the kids have the opportunity to learn different things with the guidance of their fantastic teachers and on their own. Learning about different topics, various activities, outdoor/messy play, mat times and music times create a positive and fun learning environment for the kids. I can't thank the teachers enough for always providing their ongoing love, care and full support. Thank you for making a difference.

Our boys have been at Active Explorers Melville since it first opened. We were really impressed with their 4 1/2 year old programme, including the lunch box group to teach them how to ration out and open their own lunch. The staff are really lovely and genuinely care about the kids and teaching them skills and topics that relate to their age. I would really recommend this day care.

Words cannot express the appreciation and gratitude we have for the Active Explorers Melville team, leaving our 2 boys every morning was like leaving them with family. From day 1 we felt so comfortable knowing our boys were well cared for and loved. They have excelled so much and have learnt so many new things since being in Active Explorers care. We will miss the entire team at Active Explorers Melville, and a massive THANK YOU to all the lovely educators who had both Brooklin and Braxton in their care.

As parents, trust and safety is the utmost importance when leaving our children in care. Our boys have not only formed close bonds with their teachers, but are continuously learning and growing. It is obvious that a lot of effort and thought goes into planning a fun-loving, safe and caring environment for the children. We would like to thank Active Explorers Melville for all the opportunities that you provide on a daily basis and taking such good care of our boys.
