Active Explorers Richmond Celebrates Matariki
After a foggy start in Nelson, the day cleared to present a spectacular night sky for our Matariki celebration at Active Explorers Richmond.
The children had prepared special kai to share, and families enjoyed getting to know each other as they ate their dinner. After dinner the children and their parents hung stars in the whare and in the trees, and capped off the evening by toasting marshmallows over the fire.
