Building Skills at Omnigym
A recent trip to Napier's popular Omni Gymnastic Centre boosted skills and confidence for a group of 3 and 4 year olds from Active Explorers Mayfair.
"The children worked very hard throughout the morning, testing their agility, balance, confidence, coordination and gross motor skills as they jumped, hung, swung, rolled, crawled, climbed and ran," says centre manager Selina Hargreaves.
Excursion highlights included the bus ride to and from the centre, exploring the exciting gym equipment - and most importantly, jumping in the foam pit at the end of the morning!
"It was fantastic to have such wonderful parent and grandparent helpers join us on the trip. We can't wait to go back to the gym another time!"
